The Palms is Norman's only wig salon!

After diagnosis, if hair loss is a possibility, visit us at The Palms so that we can make note of the color, texture and style of your hair. We will show you the many different options for hair replacement, measure your head for fitting properly and choose a color for a wig if needed. There is no charge for consultation.

Some women consider a short hair cut at this time to minimize fall out, while others choose to have us shave their head.  Either way we have a private fitting room and welcome family or friends to accompany you for support. House calls are available for a $50 fee, refundable with wig order.

You will be amazed at how easy and comfortable our synthetic wigs are to wear and care for. Most wigs can be delivered in 48 hours. All wigs will be cut to flatter the shape of your face and come with the basic products and tools needed to care for the wig.

If you have insurance that will reimburse you for your wig you will need to ask your doctor for a prescription for a "cranial prosthetic".  We will provide you the detailed receipt needed for reimbursement.

Our wigs range in price from $130 to $300. We believe the companies that we have chosen to represent offer the best quality for a fair price. We also believe that the synthetic "Vibrelite" fiber wigs are much easier to care for than human hair wigs. Beware of wig sales people who try to persuade you to purchase an expensive human hair wig.  They are the most difficult and expensive to care for.
